KNOWING ME, KNOWING YOU

In our project, our students will go on a fun and informative virtual tour. They will have the opportunity to get to know different cities and cultures, starting from the cities they live in. In this whole process, they will have the opportunity to work and cooperate in environments where they can develop their skills in many fields (English language skills, ICT skills, 21st century skills, multidisciplinary working skills). Our students will meet their peers in other cities, communicate in English and work in cooperation to prepare joint products and our project final product with the guidance of their teachers.

TRANSMISSION

This eTwinning project will be based on the creation of collaborative radio programmes and podcasts among students from different European countries, addressing topics such as culture, environment, science, or any other subjects of personal interest. Students will conduct research, write scripts, record, and edit episodes using digital tools, thus promoting teamwork at a distance, creativity, and ensuring accessibility for all students, including those with different abilities. This type of project contributes to the development of key competencies such as communication in both the mother tongue and foreign languages, digital literacy, cultural awareness, and entrepreneurial initiative. Furthermore, it aligns with the school curriculum in areas such as Language, Social Studies, and Information Technology, allowing students to apply their knowledge in a practical, motivating, and meaningful way.

ROAMING WITH THE LEGENDS

The project deals with myths, heroes, legends and stories from all over Europe. The students will come into contact with these myths and, with heroes and legends as protagonists, in collaboration with other students from different schools, they will create their own stories, interspersing them with European values. They will illustrate them either in a traditional way or with artificial intelligence tools, they will be inspired by them to write short stories, poems or songs and in the end a common product will emerge, a different travel guide to get to know and roam around Europe! Using foreign languages and Web 2.0 tools and through collaborative interaction, this project will help students develop and enhance their communication skills, as well as their digital and social skills. They will be encouraged to become active and proactive citizens by sharing their work with their school community, their families and their school partners. https://heyzine.com/flip-book/b3b682cdc0.html

The wonderful world of Roald Dahl

Roald Dahl was a prolific British children stories writer. Among all of them, there are many characters our students may know as Willy Wonka or Matilda and many others they may not like Mr. Fox, George, the Twits, the Pely or Alfie. This project is focused on enhancing reading and creativity in students by choosing, in each class, one or more of Roald Dahl stories to read. Students have collaborated in activities inspired by Roald Dahl stories and digital tools in order to discover, not only the books they were reading, but also the ones read by their partners. This project has involved infants class, primary grades 2 and 5 and secondary grades 1 and 2 in our school, working together with partners from Czech Republic, Poland and Estonia, exploring together European values such as critical thinking, resilience and empathy.
